I’m a man-thing who grew up in New Jersey, studying the way animals move and people emote. I’ve got a pretty eclectic background - between writing music and recording it in studios, riding horses through the countryside, being the head counselor of a camp, appearing as a motivational speaker, and running a T-Shirt company; you name it, and I’ve probably done something like it. But by far, the oddest thing I’ve ever done is study at the Rhode Island School of Design. I’ve been thrown around a lot of places, but I always love to come back to the one thing those experiences gave me the ability to do: tell stories.
If I get someone to fall in love with a character or have a genuinely good time with my work, I consider it a job well done. What would be even better is if I could do that for children’s media, teaching kids important lessons while they’re having fun. Give me a story, and I’ll give it a flair of goofiness, beauty, intensity, and heart. I want people to enjoy what I do. And if I can help them feel better in the process, that’s a very welcome bonus.
Find me on social media! I’m a gremlin on there and in real life.
